As founder of Ed Kirkland Company, the precursor to Kirkland & King Financial, Ed has been helping clients with their financial planning needs since 1982. As an Investment Advisor Representative of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., he takes very seriously his fiduciary duties to help our clients find the best solution to their personalized planning needs.

Ed is the proud parent of two wonderful daughters, Tiffany and Jill. As an active member in the community, he was the Inaugural President of the Brookland Cayce High School Education Foundation and President of the Brookland Cayce Booster Club for 3 years. In addition, he was a member of the Advisory Board of the SC Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities and served on the Board of Trustees for the Lexington Medical Center. He graduated from Gardner-Webb University and attended the business school at the University of South Carolina and Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
